Oaty Breakfast Crumble

It’s THE dream - pudding for breakfast! A delicious, warming, impressive breakfast or brunch to enjoy at the weekend that takes no time at all to whip together!

Ingredients to serve 4 - 6:

2 - 3 apples

2 - 3 pears

10 tablespoons of jumbo oats

2 handfuls of nuts & seeds of your choice

Maple Syrup 

Cinnamon

Coconut Yogurt to serve

Method:

1. Preheat the oven to 180c / 350f / gas mark 4.

2. Dice the apples and pears into 1-2 cm pieces, removing the core.

3. Add the pieces of fruit to an oven proof baking dish, spinkle over 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon and drizzle in 1 tablespoon of maple syrup and 1 tablespoon of fresh water.

4. Mix everything together and place in the oven for 20 - 25 minutes.

5. Meanwhile, mix together the oats, nuts and seeds of your choice, 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon and 1 tablespoon of maple syrup.

6. Carefully remove the fruit from the oven and top evenly with the oaty mixture before placing back into the oven to continue to back for a further 15 minutes.

7. Serve hot or warm with a dollop of coconut yogurt.
