Prawn & Broccoli Pasta

This dish is the Boxxfresh Babies all time favourite - kiddies and grown ups alike will love it!


The prawns are interchangeable with a couple of salmon fillets or you can create a totally veggie version by adding fresh tomatoes.  


To feed 2 adults and 2 children:

2 cloves of garlic, finely minced

200g of Tenderstem broccoli, sliced on an angle

150g Raw frozen prawns  

Tamari sauce

300g dried spaghetti or favourite pasta shape

Freshly grated Parmesan to serve

Olive oil

Freshly ground black pepper



1. Bring a large pan of fresh water to the boil over a high heat and cook the pasta according to the instructions on the packet.

2. While the pasta is cooking, place a large frying pan over a medium heat and drizzle in a tablespoon of olive oil.

3. Add the garlic to the pan and allow it to gently sizzle for a minute before adding the slices of Tenderstem. Give everything a good stir then cover the pan with a lid to allow the broccoli to stir fry for a couple of minutes.

4. Remove the lid and add the prawns along with a few dashes of Tamari sauce or to suit your taste. Continue to cook the mix until the prawns are pink all the way through.

5. Spoon a couple of tablespoons of pasta water into the pan with the prawns and broccoli before draining the pasta and tumbling it in with the prawns. 

6. Toss everything together along with a good pinch of freshly ground black pepper and serve straight away with a sprinkle of Parmesan over the top.
